January Product Haul

Happy Sunday everyone!!! I have been missing in action for a couple of weeks! I have been sick with allergies/sinus infection. This weather is really getting to a sista! One day it's warm, the next day it's raining and sleeting, and the next day it's cold, then back to warm.... Anywho... I was able to tryout some of my favorite products in January. My most favorite product is eye M Glam by Giella. Eye M Glam is a highlighter, and it is amazing. I was told it is used by Kim Kardashian's makeup artist and so of course I had to try it. I went onto youtube to find someone with my complexion that tried it, and I did. Sandiann82 on youtube has tried Giella and so I purchased it. I love love love it. I don't know if you all follow beatfacehoney on youtube, but the sista is awesome. She really shows you how to beat your face. Along with the Eye M Glam, I also purchased a new foundation from MAC, a new blush for contouring called blunt, and a paint pot for my eyes. I purchased some more coconut oil for my hair and some rose water. Well folks that is all for tonight. I wanted to stop by and say hello and to let you all know that I am back and ready to write. If there are any products out there that you all are thinking about trying but aren't brave enough, or just don't have the time, let me know what they are and I'll do my research and might even try a few. Introduction

Well you all how rude am I?  :)).. I should have started off with an introduction, and not assumed everyone that reads my blogs will know me. Please charge it to my head and not my heart... This is an old saying that I hear my mom say alot. First of all I am a southern girl. I have been married for 10 years to a wonderful man that I often refer to as Bigdaddy. We have 3 amazingly smart children, and they are very different and have totally different personalities. I love being a mother, wife, and student. I am a full time student and stay at home mom. I love to shop and try new things. I chose to go natural in 2009. Going natural was almost like a spur of the moment thing for me. I was very serious about going natural, but I had not researched as I should have. I knew that I no longer wanted a perm, and I knew my hair was of a good grade, so it shouldn't be that hard. After a dear friend referred me to Miss Jessie's I tried them and was instantly hooked as I transitioned. I have tried several products, and I continue to try different products. Miss Jessie's is like having flour in your cabinets, I have Miss Jessie's stocked up. :)).. Well thank you all for reading. Food for thought

Hi everyone! Thank you for viewing and thank you so much for signing up! This blog was initially suppose to be only for hair and beauty, after some thought I decided I would just talk about the things I love, starting with food! :)) y'all I love chicken and the two places that I love most on earth are Gus's world famous fried chicken in Memphis Tennessee, and my mother in laws house. They both use the wet batter and it is just magnificent. I will definitely drive to Memphis just for Gus's just because it is the bomb dot com :)).. My mother in law gave me her recipe,and I tried cooking with the wet batter and it didn't turn out as expected :((.. okay let me know what you think, and some of your favorite places or recipes that I should try. Winterizing your hair

The winter months have approached us. What is your winter hair regimen? Do you prefer wearing protective hair styles in the winter months. I like to protect my hair in the cold months. I love coconut oil and I use it to help my hair with frizziness and it also gives me shine. I occasionally like to wear my hair down during the winter just because I start to miss my hair and the styles that I can create. What are some of your favorite styles please share links.
